All locations on this tour are malaria-free.
Fairly flexible in that the properties can easily be changed according to individual budgets. The direction of the trip is flexible too and can easily be done in reverse. The tour can also be condensed with less driving by booking a flight from Cape Town to either George or Port Elizabeth Airports depending on available time.
Most of the year is good for this tour but early morning and late evening game drives in the Eastern Cape can be very cold in June and July. Cape Town’s rainy season occurs between June & Aug, the wettest months but is interspersed with beautiful sunny days. Cape Town’s winter is mild compared to many other cities with daytime temperatures averaging a maximum of 18-20ºC (64-68ºF) during winter.
