The Marly Boutique Hotel and Spa's seasonal specials - The Marly

Spring has officially arrived in Cape Town – what better way to experience it than with a visit to The Marly Boutique Hotel and Spa. Now featuring an elevated level of luxury with the launch of 11 elegantly renovated suites, the hotel boasts the best views in Camps Bay.
To celebrate, The Marly is offering an accommodation special open exclusively to South African citizens. Enjoy a night away in one of the luxurious mountain-facing suites for R2050. Offer valid from 1st August – 30 September 2019.

Considered by many to be the city’s best season, spring in Cape Town starts off in a riot of colour, as wildflowers bloom in abundance. Take a day trip up to the West Coast National Park and enjoy myriad species of indigenous wildflowers as they bloom en masse in the first of the season’s sunshine.

Closer to home, food markets get busier as the days get longer. Spend a Friday night exploring the V&A Waterfront’s famed food market or bring a basket to the popular Oranjezicht City Farm Market at Granger Bay – held every Saturday and Sunday from 9am until 2pm.

Art lovers can indulge in new exhibitions across the city, including “In the Absence of Light” by Stanislaw Trzebinski at the Southern Guild Gallery – an immersive collection of functional bronze sculpture depicting the artist’s lifelong fascination with the ocean. Other notable events are “Conversations with Irma” at the Irma Stern Museum and “Hata” by Misheck Masamvu at the Goodman Gallery.

As the sun goes down, fans of electronic music can groove the evening away to the sounds of international artists like Drumcomplex and Layton Giordani at the Spilt Milk Music Festival on the 31st of August. Take in ethereal underwater scenes set to live music with the After Dark Music Series at the Two Ocean Aquarium as the venue hosts eight local bands playing stripped-down acoustic-based sets.

If all that time on the dance floor proves to be thirsty work, The Marly Boutique Hotel and Spa is conveniently situated close to Camps Bay’s most popular eateries. Choose light Mediterranean fare with an uninterrupted view of the Atlantic at Bilboa or sip bespoke cocktails with the sundowner set at Chinchilla Rooftop Café and Bar.

Whether eating out or staying in any of the luxurious sea or mountain-facing rooms, one can truly celebrate the suite life at The Marly this spring.
